At TJ’s we care about families because we are a family owned and run one-stop shop.
Since the day that we opened our doors – some 25 years ago – our commitment to each and every one of our clients is to exceed their expectations in both the quality of our fresh products and our customer service!
We offer a comprehensive selection of freshly prepared delicious food as well as our famous rolls, breads and other freshly baked delights. Using nothing but the finest quality products, we are certain that you will savour every mouthful.
Along with our wide selection of wine, beers, brandies, whiskies, spirits, gins and rums from TJ’s Liquors, we offer a one-of-a-kind experience catering for everything you may need for that special occasion – be it that last minute office party, your weekend family function or simply wanting a night off from cooking.
Put us to the test!
Our comprehensive range of takeaways caters for those with the biggest of appetites all the way through to something small for the kids. Whether it’s one of our fantastic burgers, our tasty toasted sandwiches or one of our freshly prepared salads – using only the finest, fresh ingredients – is sure to have you coming back for more.
We stock a range of products and brands that offer great value to you, our valued customer. Many of the brands we stock are internationally recognised – so look out for our regular specials on your daily “dop” or something special to celebrate those memorable occasions.
From then to now.
We started out in 1995 as Discovery Serve Save Supermarket.
Slowly we started establishing ourselves.
Then in 2000, we changed our look to red and started a new
as TJ’s Convenience, back then milk only cost R2.20 per litre.
In 2007, we did it again and changed our colour to green.
Eventually in 2009 we did one final change to yellow.
We started expanding our shop more for our clients and
started the Take-Away.
Finally in 2014 we established the Liquor Store
and created what is now known as TJ’s Corner.
Now our Corner can cater for your every need.
